Which AR15 lower would you choose and why? Aero Precision (gen 2) or Anderson Arms
Funny thing about getting older: Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to see through people's BS gets much better.

I wanted to convert my carry handle upper to a rail with my fantasy football winnings, but lost so I won't. But anyways, I was looking at those 2 for uppers. Digging the around online I found out that Aero supposedly has either sold unfinished forgings or flat out produced receivers as a subcontractor with some other outfits name stamped on the product for years. Based on that I was going to go with Aero.

Aero. Can't stand the Anderson logo.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

The Aero should be a better fit. And the Anderson logo is ugly.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I'd go with Aero just on principle. Do some searches on google "Anderson Manufacturing Owner AR15.com" there are several threads where the owner and workers have been really shady in their business dealings.

I prefer Aero Precision over Andersen also. I've got several of their stripped uppers and lower ready to be built out.

Aero Precision without a doubt. They and Mega Arms are Aerospace companies that have the experience with tight machining tolerances.
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

I have both, no problem with the Anderson's but I really prefer the Aero line. I have ar15's and lr10 in Aero and thursday I'm picking up two more uppers and lowers. I also have colt, spikes, PSA and diamondback. I'll buy Aero before any of these.
