Yes. I have the Franchi Al-48 in .20 gauge. Very light recoil and an absolute joy to shoot.

Very good, looking at getting the wife a AL 48 Finice and worried that the inertia driven recoil might be a tad for her.

I would personally look into the affinity or a Stoeger M3000, although I don't have a real reason to do so.
