I've been thinking about an SBR. I think I've narrowed it down to a Daniel Defense MK18 upper paired with a Seekins billet lower. Then I'll eventually get some shorty .22 cal can to pair to it.

Anyone have any advice or opinion on this...I haven't done anything yet so I'm just seeing if you AR guys think I'm on the right track.

Thanks.

I'm guessing your wanting to build up a 223? Both the manufactures you mentioned are good from what I've heard. I would buy a 30 cal can and a adaptor before I would buy a 223 can. It could be used on several calibers instead of just one.

I've already got a 30 that I use for my bolt guns...I'd be looking at attempting to get a shorter/lighter weight can for this one.

Thanks guys.

I run a DD MK 18 with a AAC Mini 4 up front and an EOTech ESPS3 on top. Could not be happier with it.

If your wanting a short 223 can, look at the Gemtech Trek series. They have both steel or titanium.

I run a DDMK18 as well on top of a Spikes lower. It's a tad heavy for my liking, but it's accurate and I love it.
