338 norma mag @ 1200 yards: https://youtu.be/-mp5jTebXCg 338 Norma mag @ 1200 yards: https://youtu.be/xLNS_BVwBWoHad some fun shooting my buddies 338 norma mag to furthest distance available today which was 1200 yards. Hopeful to stretch it out in Kansas this summer to 2k. Built by RWS gunsmithing. Defiance action, brux bbl, jewell trigger and PDC chassis. Crappy MOA scope vortex gen 2. He had a 1st round impact then I had 2 consecutive hits after him pushing the 300 hybrid around 2760 fps.

What's your deal with moa? Nobody ever said it was junk just that depending factors it isn't ideal.

What's your deal with moa? Nobody ever said it was junk just that depending factors it isn't ideal. Yup. Got the last thread locked down, and has now started a fresh one still stirring the pot. Yes, 1200 is a chip shot with a 338 Norma Mag.

I would think a well rounded shooter would want to own both MOA and Mil based scopes. Just like all should know how to drive a stick shift vs an Automatic...... I will let ya'll decide which is which.

A guy came on the forum looking for help. Several of us tried to help and you hijacked the thread. It's BS like that cause PMs to come to myself as well as several other folks around here every day. Queations about rifle, twist rate, scope, base, rings, chambering, ect. All to avoid BS like you showed up with and continue to bring up. At the end of the day I check my PMs to help those that are asking for help. It is every day, and I am glad to help those that ask for it. So you say I take this too seriously? That's fine, I'll keep assisting those that come to me for assistance, and I will continue to take their questions seriously. I've educated myself, have practiced, continue to practice, learn from those that came before me, put all the chips on the table to buy land, build a range, form and L.L.C. , teach shooters wanting to improve on MY range as often as they come along. In the interim I come here and help where I can. So yeah, I take this serious. What do you have invested to back up your banter?

I will let ya'll decide which is which. I know how to operate an MOA scope just fine. Knowing that makes me not want to waste money on one. I own two trucks, one standard, one automatic. That good enough?

I'll remove this comment in respect to mine and others opinion on this forum. Hopefully the childish rants have run their course by now.
