Took the T3 Hunter 6.5 Swede out today for some final load testing. Speed was lower than I wanted at 2690 with a 140 Amax. Only group I shot today was .314”. The rest I shot into the berm running some across the Chrony. I’m calling it good for a Hunter and am going on to my 280 Ackley project.
Buzz you ask about Tikkas. This is a T3 Hunter. The same action as the T3 Lite with a walnut stock. The only thing not stock is it has been bedded.

You sure about that 44.2 gr?
Looks like normal operation for a Tikka as far as consistency goes. Good loading, good shooting!

Thank you sir. Yes I’m sure about the loads. What I’m not sure about anymore is my Chrony. It gave me some really strange speeds on my 45 Colt today that have me concerned. I started a thread on that in the reloading section.

44.2 gr H-4350 in a 6.5 Creedmoor is awfully hot. Please were eye pro...
42.4 gr is the typical load...

nice, but you only shot 1 group? Yes I only shot one group today. I had other things going. I had already confirmed the accuracy of the load. Just needed the velocity on two rifles. Which I may have screwed up and need to redo.
