Is anyone using an Octane on a 300blk? It's rated for subs, but there's not much info about the effectiveness of the combo.

I have used the Silencerco osprey 45 for 300 blackout subs. It works pretty good dry. It works great wet. There's a definite FRP when shooting dry and follow up shots are much quieter. I only used it for a short time until my 7.62 suppressor was cleared.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

That's good to know. If the .45 works good, the 9mm should be fine. I ordered an Omega 300 through the Silencerco summer promotion and I need to pick my freebie. I was looking at rimfire cans, but I have a nice 300blk pistol that needs a can too. I'm gonna go with the Octane 9. Thanks for the feedback.

My suppressed .22LR bolt action rifle is my favorite gun to shoot. We sometimes head to the tank and spend a couple of hours thinning out the turtle population. Take it to the stand and shoot the corn thieves and it's so quiet, the deer and pigs still come in.

Mine sounds great, fire a couple of supers for good measure and it was decent as well. Now it rides on a 357Mag full time, replaced it with a Tracker for 300BLK use.
