Always check gun counter clearance rack at every big box sporting goods store I go in. Academy in Highland Village has a singe shot CVA in .223 for $152.99 I couldn't talk them into moving the.308 to the "we'll never get rid of it rack". Still looking for a cheap single shot to spend most of it's life on my atv gun rack.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

The on line reviews I have seen may be biased, but they are very good. Only experience I have with Henry is a .22 Mag lever I put together for my Dad. Shot fantastic. If I get the Henry SS in .308 it will be a while. I have an alternative for my ATV gun. My .300 B/O
