I started out long time ago with a Rem 700 BDL in .243 and loved the gun. It's not in my possession any more (and that's another story). So I'm thinking maybe the 6mm Creedmoor. I could hunt both deer and predators with it. What would the down side be? Only one I can come up with is I'll have to be careful with my ammo, I'd have a 22, 6mm and a 6.5 Creedmoor. I think I see a pattern.

The only down side is you will have one more choice of what rifle to decide to grab.

I've taken my 6mm Creedmoor hunting a good bit but only took pigs and yotes to which it was very effective. Took my 22 creed this year and it worked awesomely on a pretty good size buck. 80gr vld destroyed the lungs and fully exited with a 3-4" exit.
