A few years ago I came across a CDL SF 300WM at Bud's and had to have it. It is Remingtons Anniversary for the 300WM. I flat love this gun and has become my choice rifle for mule deer up in the Plains. Thus far has dropped 4 muley's and a hog up there. This year I changed things up a bit for the gun. Put a McMillan stock on and changed bullets/load. I was shooting Hornady SST's . They shot great but tended to blow up on deer. This year I went to Nosler Accubonds. Waiting to get the recovered AB from the processor on this year's MD. This gun is a pleasure to shoot and carry. Have it dialed in to 500 yards on my range. Love watching that AR500 ring and swing.

My buddy had one in 270 that was a beautiful gun. We never could get it to shoot worth a darn so he sold it. It's about the only Remington I'd ever own though.
