I have a S&W m&p sport 2, the mil-spec trigger is gritty and rough as heck.. Can't really justify a 250 dollar trigger, I don't make that many long shots. But, I don't want to keep what I have in it now. How do you shop triggers is what I'm getting at ??

You can get an upgraded mil spec trigger for less than $75, BCM PNT, Sionics, Sons of Liberty Gunworks, ALG ACT.
My favorite of the group is the Sons of Liberty compitetion trigger.

Go to a three gun match and play with other guys rifles.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Runner runner in Mckinney Yes was in Runner Runner about a week ago and tested all the triggers. First gun store I've seen with a setup like that.

My favorite of the group is the Sons of Liberty compitetion trigger. For $25 more you can get a complete drop-in 3 lb. trigger. These are the best prices I've seen. I have the skeletonized 2.5 lb trigger in one of my AR's which is a few dollars more. https://www.deltateamtactical.com/AR-15-Match-Triggers-_c_74.html

I highly recommend spending the $230 and buying a geiselle. It will improve your accuracy on short shots, follow up shots and quick shots. It will just improve everything.
But you can find lots of OK triggers for $50 to $100. You just buy one and live with it.
