Nice rig!

I'd love some set-up specs: caliber, optic, bullet choice.

Good shooting!

It is a 308 with a Leupold VXR Patrol 3-9. I was using 150 Ballistic Tips at 2875 FPS (46 gr of TAC). Shot the mule deer at 130 yards, the hog at 40 yards and the Javelina at 20 feet.

The mule deer was in scrub brush so I only had top half of him visible so I drilled him on the shoulder. The NBT went through both shoulders and dropped him on the spot.

The Javelina was at 20 feet in brush. There was a group of them and the were in thick brush and did not want to come out. I had a small opening to shoot through but it was too easy.

The hog was the most interesting. I shot him as he was jumping through the hole in the fence (you can see the hole in the pic). Hit him in the air and he landed in that pose. I couldn't have posed him any better. I still can't believe he landed in that position.

Nice pics. Looks like Davis Mountains or somewhere out in that area. Am I close?

I love my ctr 308. I have found that it will not shoot a heavier 165 or 168 bullet but will stack 150s all day long. Have you had this same experience?

God is deep but he is not complicated.

I've only had it about 60 days and have only tried 155 TMKs and 150 NBTs. Both shoot great.
