What would you get and why?
Could be a celebratory purchase - could be a OH HELL NO buy
But share

Anyone that is buying in panic mode today is an idiot. Regardless the outcome, you've had months to prepare.

I think the point of the thread, at least to me, is about how you memorialize the Election Day not about panic buying or hoarding.
You know, regardless of what happens, 4 years you pull the gun out and it serves as a reminder of the hours wasted watching the debates, the destroyed emails, and locker room talk.
For all those reasons if I could find one I'd buy a Remington R51 - it looks the part and reading the advertising it seems like an improvement on an older proven design BUT it doesn't work worth a flip...
Have a good day all

I think the whole idea is stupid. Yup. I've gone 35 years without purchasing or owning a firearm. Why would I start today.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I think the whole idea is stupid. I thought it was funny watching everyone pay triple price cause Obama for no reason, I don't own any guns not going to start now by the way. But yall can go for it again, like I said it was entertaining.

Considered buying something but probably won't. May go grab a few boxes of ammo though.

Oh Dear God ! ................. Is this election day?
. There's a fine line between BRAVE ... and STUPID.
The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

Haha! Perfectly timed shameless, self promotion. I won't do it but I would think the easiest answer is an ar as well. If things get crazy, then I'm more than willing to sell my franken build to extortion rates. Any takers? I put about $700 in parts so who wants to give me... $2k?!?!?!
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I just traded an AR for a really nice Springfield Armory 1911 plus cash from him. Refuse to play that stupid game of buying cheap ARs and selling during a panic

It pops up you shoot it goes down you stop. Do that enough and it won't matter what the enemy is wearing. When they pop up you shoot them

Nothing. Bought what I need during this last year of the calm before the storm. Panic buyers going to panic and pay panic buy prices.
Just when we started to see .22lr in walmart again!

Well I bought a box of 3030 at Gander Mountain that's next to the office today at lunch and the place was nuts. Needless to say I haven't seen ammo shelves so empty and gun counter wait times so long since after Sandy Hook.
It was almost comical watching everyone look for 556 and 22lr.
