I was in Wally World last night and saw a Semi Auto 12 gauge shotgun for $226.00. I looked at it and it appeared to be an OK shotgun. It isn't a Benelli, Beretta, or Remington, but it appears to be a decent firearm. There isn't alot of info on them online other than a few other forums. Has anybody had any experience with these guns? I was thinking about taking a chance since it was only $226.

I bought one as a gun for my girlfriend to use during dove season. It's what you'd expect from a $250 autoloader: gas operated, made of cheaper materials, and prone to QC failings. Mine had a bit of a beat up buttpad, a scratch on the forearm, and lots of tool marks on the bolt. The shell lifter also comes down when it shouldn't, blocking the loading of another shell. I've got an idea on how to fix it, I just need to change the angle of a couple pieces in the trigger group and it'll all be golden.

But I took it out to the range last week, and it actually started running well after only a box of ammo. We'll see whether it lasts through dove season (if I even get to go out), but I'd probably buy another one given the chance. Semi is just so convenient compared to pump, and it's great to see something priced so competitively.
