Should I? Any experiences?  I ordered a 10.5" 7mm08 barrel for my LR-308 and was gonna Form-1 it this week. Went to my LGS and they have the MaTen ambi matched set for $575 I could Form-1 instead. I've got about $500 in Visa gift cards from work. Hmm.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

My brother is currently doing the same with the same receivers by gathering parts. He is waiting for a krieger barrel in 6.5cm.
I guess as a outside observer, the biggest thing i noticed was that his cost for parts/build climbed higher and faster than expected. Simply because thought was always, "Well heck I got a high end, fancy receiver. I might was well pay a little extra and get the fancier (insert other part)." I just that was funny since it wasn't my moneys.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Do it if you can afford it, then you'll have two complete not just one and parts. That's what I was thinking. I've got the gift cards so it wouldn't be that much more than just building the upper. Just LPK and stock.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.
