working in house cleaning and moving weapons around in different safes ,
Found one of my old toys in back of safe probably has not seen a round fired in 20 yr's.
Remington 700 BDL /.17rem w/Leopold Varix2 A.O.3x9xeither42or44/only thing done to rifle is trigger tuned to 2.5lb.
I bought the rifle new in the 80's , shot great / sometime in the first year there was a recall on the .17 Remington rifle due to something in the barrel cracking/stress fractures etc
Sent rifle back to Remington & a new barrel was factory replaced and weapon was recertified for unlimited use. Took over 1 year to get rifle back from Remington.
When I got the rifle back it had a better barrel than original. Shoot sub<.5 groups with factory Ammo 25grain/4250fps
If you reload and use the fire formed brass it will shoot tiny groups. Would glue aspirin tablets to target and shoot them for fun. Birds & squirrels/turkeys etc. @ almost any range. Even shot a 7 point buck thru the heart @120yd. Six pack of Dixie Beer split up in singles that no one would drink @450yards. It's basically a laser to 350yards. Only regret never got to take it prairie dog hunting .
Rifle & stock & bluing all in 98-99% shape
Also have @ least 120roundfs factory Ammo for it.
Looking at it today & it is still in beautiful shape - I am either going to trade/sell or pull it back out and take it to west Texas & start shooting varmints/pigs whatever needs shooting . If I do that its going to start picking up hunting dings etc
So basically what is the selling Value rifle/scope/ammo or trade value of said weapon.
Thanks Hetman

Imo with mounts, glass, ammo, and condition. $800-900 especially if someone is after a 17 rem.
