Anybody know if there is other options to adjust the trigger other then a $100 Timney? I recently bought one of the $14 spring upgrade kits off Ebay and it will not work in this gun. I am being told I have an older Edge without the threaded trigger screw. Any help would be awesome, right now the trigger is reading at 6lb 4oz and I would like to get it between 3 and 4lbs. Thank yall for any responses.

Probably a $100 trigger job. I'd buy a timney if i was you.

DIY by cutting coils off trigger spring, you can do search for axis trigger job .
Done several myself, gone from 6 to 8 pounds to around 2, super easy
You can do a search for step by step instructions!

Yep, cut 1 1/2 coils off to start. Work from there.

I'll do that today. Luckily the guy I got it from on eBay refunded my money and gave me no hassle about it.

Well that worked. It dropped from 6lbs 4oz to 3lbs 8oz. I am happy with it, hopefully it shoots when I get around to it.

I have an axis and it i just had the triger don by the local gun smith did a heart job at 2.5 lbs and a tamny in my 30-06 wich i thought was a great triger and pull but the trigger job is a lots nicer has a nice crisp break if i had to do the other gun I would get the triger job over buying a whole triger the reason it has a an aftermarket triger is i tried to cut the spring and polish it all up and messed it up some how so i replaced it and never tried to do it my self a again

I did the drop test on this gun after I cut the spring and everything seems fine. I still haven't [censored] it but I'm looking forward to it now.
