Thinking about adding a few things to this glock 22 I picked up. Anything worth modifying?

If it's GEN3 I always change out the mag and slide release to extended, and replace the trigger disconnecter to a ghost 3.5

Def a one piece metal guide rod as well. And if it's for personal defense like mine, I put on the xs big dot tritium sites. Fast target acquisition! Stipling is good too for better grip.

Sell it and buy a Sig. That's a great upgrade!

Theres nothing to upgrade if you're just looking for a reliable handgun. Already has night sights so you're covered there. If its for home defense you may want to add a quality light. I just put a Streamlight TLR-1 HL on my G23 and it is stupid bright.

Anything outside of sights and light for me is just nice to have.

Considered a light and also a trigger but a zev is hard to justify

I love a 1911 but not always practical for some purposes.

I'd forget the trigger unless you're planning to compete with it. What Gen is it? If not Gen 4 you might want to have the grip stippled. That would be a worthwhile upgrade to slim it up and increase usability.

1911s and Sigs are nice but they are not a glock

Skateboard tape works wonders on grips.

Just spent a week at the range firing 1000 rounds from my Gen 4 glock 22. Can't think of a thing I'd really need to change.

A few things I like on my Glocks.

Grip tape, unless it will be a CCW.

New front sight. I like the small laser sights in red.

GlockWorx Fulcrum trigger is freakin awesome. I have one on my G35 I compete with, and it's amazing. It lightens up the trigger pull, and cuts the trigger reset in half. Major improvement. But I will not put them on my carry guns.

New magazine release that's on the G34 and G35 pistols. The mag release sticks out a little more, and is easier to use.

It also makes it easier to drop the mag accidentally while firing, depending on your grip. Standard mag release works better for mine.

Depends on what seems functional to you.
You can play with
Springs
Guide rods
Stippling
Reduce hump on backstrap
Remove finger grooves
Skateboard tape
Personalize the backplate on the slide
Tactical slide release
.25cent trigger job
Replace trigger
Replace sights
Extended mag release
Match barrel
Thread barrel for suppressor or compensator
Magwell
Undercut trigger guard

Personally I like a beefier slide stop. It made it easier for me to catch and release the slide or lock it. Because of my grip I do prefer extended mag release. I did reduce the hump, I felt it gave me a more consistent grip. For me the hump either made me point tad high or low.I just feel more consistent with my grip now. I also removed the finger grooves and stippled the frame.I'm happy with it. I have always been confident with it but those mods made me feel it was an improvement. I do like the undercut on the subcompact models but that's just me

Sorry, I meant to say the slide release. The slide release on the G34 and G35 pistols sticks out a little more.
