As long as the action is locked down to it, and the barrel is free-floated then it should be good to go.

I just got one too and have it mounted and will have it on range this afternoon or tomorrow. East my research suggests that even though you "can" drill it for the sling/bipod mounts the better idea is to go with the MLOK add on for all that. Seems that mouting screws into the polymer only works so good and had tendency to come loose and strip.

Barrel is free floated (I had 700AAc-SD) and all parts fit snug and hold torq spec well. Magazine functions well although is somewhat tight fit but rounds feed smooth.

Hope it shoots as nice as it looks. Always the more important part. We shall see

PS. I also have the Timney 510 and fit is fine. The flat blade timney 517 will NOT work

I have the same stock. I modded the mag follower to hold the 6th round in the mag. The magazine snaps into the gun a lot better if you only put 5 rounds in the gun.

Point of impact only changed 1" down and half inch to right after I swapped stocks at 100 yards. Its been dead on ever since.

I put in the swivel mounts. They are in there good and I dont think theyll pull out or strip.

That is the Mlok I was referring to and also have similar attachment for sling swivel on forearm and can use a Type 1 mount on the rear using the mount right in front of the flat sling loop. Runs the overall cost up but seems like decent options to have. The Harris will fit right on that MLOK bipod mount. Just waiting out some rain..........

After about 10 rounds of tweaking it in, I got this group of 4 at 100yds with Remington Premier 165 Scirocco's. Factory loads. My handloads next time point of aim was bullseye




Additional tweaking and this was last group of 4. Same factory load. Dime was point of aim

I just took it off and trashed it

Have not. I tested a boatload of different bullets and kept coming back to that Swift Scirroco. I know some people dont seem to like them but as a hunting pill it works majic on deer and feral hogs. Its really accurate out to 400 yds. My range has up to 625 and I can get on 500 pretty good (weather cooperating) but this scope is limited past that. This is my hunting rig so 500 is past max really for me. Have a 700 5R milspec to punch paper out past 500 for the ego trip of it. So I tried to find best of both worlds on bullet. Eager to acquire some of the new Hornady ones they just put out
