Had a $300 gift card to a local gun shop and have been wanting another American rifle. Picked up the 308 Predator with 18" barrel. Rings and scope are temporary, thinking about a 2-7x Leupold and lightweight Talley rings. 
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

 I put Talleys on mine but had to shave the top of the rear base with a Dremel to clear the mag ring on my Leupold VX1 4-12x40.
