I have a 1970's model 60. It's the same Marlin semi auto .22 rifle everyone has seen at some point in their lives. My rifle doesn't feed or eject. My question is about replacing parts. Has anyone had success after replacing the feed throat and bolt? It doesn't bother me to spend money on it. I am worried about wasting my time trying to fit new parts in an old gun.

I bet cleaning and replacing springs would do the trick. I highly doubt your bolt is worn out.

I appreciate that tactical cowboy. I did take it apart and clean it. No doubt the springs are worn. I agree with you on the bolt but it appears all the parts have changed over the years. So new springs do not match the old ones. It looks to me that changing one part leads to changing many.
