I bought a Star PD with two magazines. Manufactured in 1977 and imported by Garcia Group. Anyone know the value? I haven't found a lot of information on value other than a couple for sale on Gunbroker. Thanks I. Advance.

Gun broker pretty much sets the market "actual cash value" price these days. They were never terribly expensive, but were very well regarded back in the day. The Star BM also fell into the same category. Once caveat, you must distinguish between asking and selling prices on GB.
FWIW, I'd buy one if I wanted a moderately priced .45 compact.

Jeff Cooper said if you couldn't afford to buy a Colt Officer and spend extra money making it shootable just buy a Star PD and shoot it straight out of the box. I think it was G&A gun of the year back in the 1985?? period. I bought one new back around 1990, got an extra mag and Pach grips. Never had any malfunctions but have not shot it much. These are not 25,000 round firearms, so condition would have a bearing on the price. I have seen a couple sell in the $400 +- range about 4 years ago, but price today?? I think you will have trouble getting a good handle on sales because of lack of activity on the selling end.
