I'm getting a barrel threaded on a rifle that I've already had cerakoted and will have a thread protector for it. I'd like to get the thread protector cerakoted to match the rest of the rifle. Does anybody do small items like that? Scapel arms who did my original cerakote on the rifle has a $60 minimum for work. For that I just won't worry about it on something that small.

I'm actually in the process of ordering the stuff to try and cerakote a few guns of mine. If I'm happy enough with my stuff that I feel confident I won't screw your up I will do it for free if I have the color. If I don't have the color you can order it and I'll do it, they run around $30 a bottle.

That would be pretty awesome right there. It's an unusual color though so I might have to order the color. I do have a pistol I want to do too to at least make it worth your time with a color you might not use again. I'd be glad to pay though. I hate for anybody to work for free.

I ran into the same issues, I needed just a brake coated, everybody wanted $75 for a brake and I new it was going to blow off some of the costing in the ports.

I got a pistol I want to have done so maybe I can get somebody to throw my thread protector in with it.

What color? There is a vendor on Ebay that will custom cut thread protectors and do them in one of several colors. I have ordered 5 or 6 from them and they all have looked great.
