Thinking of having a gun hard chromed. No, not the shiny polished chrome crap. Matte finish hard Chrome.
Are there any good Texas or Oklahoma companies to recommend? Price estimate for a 1911?

STI does not do refinishing. They only do finishing on their factory pistols. I don;t think Dawson does it either, but I might be wrong. I'll check with brazos.

Armoloy of Fort Worth. Google for info. I have had over a dozen guns done through the years(1984 to last year).
On the last one, a S&W Bounty Hunter 44, they had lost their gun disassembly/assembly guy. I had to detail strip and assemble afterwards myself.
But their coating is awesome and turn around was pretty good.
God is so good to me.
