I have been looking for a new carry gun and I was leaning towards the XDS 9 but I saw someone put on here they had a sig p938 so I went to the gun shop and checked it out. I must say that I liked the way it felt in my hand and the look of the gun. It appears that it will be easy to carry. So I was wondering if ya'll had any reviews of this gun? Pros and cons?
Thanks Drew
Not sure if I'd call you a machine, but you are definitely a tool.

If it's anything like my P238 (and I'm pretty sure it is), it's a great buy. With the extended magazine, it fits well in my hand and shoots comfortably. It's extremely easy to carry IWB due to how thin it is, but I'm not going to call it a pocket carry gun because of the weight. I do, however, carry an extra mag in my pocket because of how slim and short they are. The trigger's very good as well. The 1911 manual of arms is fantastic for a carry gun, and I carry mine on safety with one in the chamber.
I've put about 500 rounds through mine so far; when using Wolf ammo I had a couple FTE's during the first 250, and I still have the occasional light primer strike. Brass cased and carry ammo performed flawlessly from the start. It's got a weird ejection pattern where shells sometimes end up on my hat or in my collar, but I can't seem to nail it down to any one issue in particular.
I see the LCP and LC9 as the main competitors in the pocket carry market. Capacity between all of them is virtually identical. The Sig has much better sights than the LCP at least, and it feels better in my hand. I much prefer the all-metal construction of the P238, even at the cost of a few ounces. And like I said before, I really enjoy having the same controls as a 1911. Finally, the Sig's single action trigger gives it another advantage over the long double action triggers of the LCP and LC9.
All around, I can't recommend it enough. Sig's done a good job with these pistols.

I've carried a P938 IWB daily for just about a year. RARELY do I leave the house with anything else. I put around 100 rounds through it each month and it eats everything. It took me a little while to get accurate with it, a combination of ammo and better technique. It generally likes most 124 grain ammo. I'll replace the recoil spring soon and keep it clean.

Excellent gun, in my opinion. Have carried one concealed for over a year now. It is an all metal frame, so the weight in a small 9mm helps with felt recoil. Very accurate, feeds and fires all ammo, and it's a SIG- what else can be said. You will pay a little more than other compact carry guns, but the quality and reliability of the P938 is worth the cost when your life may be dependent on it.

No one else mentioned that you can chamber a round with the safety on, great fearure. The sights are good size for the size of the pistol and it is very easy to chamber a round, something the ladies would like.

We do have this exact gun and it is for my wife. Some comments from our experience with it:
- definitely for a person with smaller hands. I am 6'0" 210lbs with appropriate hand size it's small for me hold a shoot well. My wife, a tiny 5'2" 120lbs woman, can shoot it much better because it fits her hands better. But i still feel confident enough to carry, i.e. I'm accurate enough to feel confident i can hit a man's torso sized target at 5yds very easily. - I've only ever carried regularly 3 handguns for chl; glock 19, glock 26 and this p938. The Sig was noticeably more comfortable to wear and carry even versus the glock 26. the thinner p938 made the difference in comfort.
after that, this thing feels so much like a mini-1911 to me.
