Checked there it's the riveted version. Apparently cabelas doesn't carry the welded version any more

Mine is a Cabela's brand. It's welded. They should have them.

Is there a particular reason that you want an aluminum case? Starlight and Pelican work extremely well and weigh less. It's a toss up between the Starlight and Pelican. The snaps on the Pelican are easier, the Starlight seals tighter and is a bit heavier duty. They actually might be more durable than aluminum anyway as they have a bit of give in them. My Starlight case has been shipped more times than I can remember on planes, and via UPS, and FedEx with some very high end rifles and optics, with never a single issue.
Whatever you go with DEFINITELY ORDER WHEELS ON IT. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
