Checked there it's the riveted version. Apparently cabelas doesn't carry the welded version any more

Mine is a Cabela's brand. It's welded. They should have them.

Is there a particular reason that you want an aluminum case? Starlight and Pelican work extremely well and weigh less. It's a toss up between the Starlight and Pelican. The snaps on the Pelican are easier, the Starlight seals tighter and is a bit heavier duty. They actually might be more durable than aluminum anyway as they have a bit of give in them. My Starlight case has been shipped more times than I can remember on planes, and via UPS, and FedEx with some very high end rifles and optics, with never a single issue.

Whatever you go with DEFINITELY ORDER WHEELS ON IT. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Haven't seen one of those in a while. Not on the Cabela's website now either. There might be one in the stores could call and check.

Weight(they actually weight more), looking for tactical or take down with wheels.

Looking for a Shotgun(taken down) + 3 boxes of ammo

Wow. Didn't realize that. Sounds like Jeff pointed him to another good option.

Sounds like you found what your looking for but for another choice the 2R series of cases from SKB are awesome, I have two of em that I like quite a bit.
