I am going to go with Lyman on my 1895, after 150 rounds of 45-70, the back site wont stay put.

Just a 3030 so I don't think the recoil will have an issue. Don't know what options are out there really but would like to change to something better suited for low light and quick acquisition of target.

XS makes a sight for the Marlin (ghost ring) that is quick and accurate at reasonable ranges.

I've found that with my "Old Eyes", I like the Fiberoptic ones.
