I hope someone can answer this question for me. I traded for a Ruger Red Label 12ga and did not get any extra choke tubes or the ruger choke tube wrench. I was able to get one out using another style wrench and it is blue and not marked. But on the ends of both, there are small cut out marks....one has one and the other has two markings. I'm sure this is the way to tell what chokes are in, but for the life in me, cannot find on the internet the secret decoding formula to determine what these chokes are! Does anyone know or know where to go to so I can find out what chokes I have? Thanks!

Although I don't know for sure, usually a single notch or mark indicates a full choke and the two notches idiciate it to be a modified choke.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

What length are they?
1.5" or 2.450"

1 notch is usually full
Maybe this will help

Full Choke: I notch
Improved Mod: II notches
Modified: III notches
Improved Cyl: IIII notches
Skeet: IIIII notches

Contact the Ruger factory. They have all the choke tubes and wrenches for your Red Label. I believe they have a website. I have purchased a wrench and small parts from them for my Red Labels. Nice folks to deal with.

Thanks! The choke I can get out is exactly 2" long. I'll contact ruger and get some stuff!
