Anyone have any insight on the Private Waters duck hunting club in North Texas?

I spoke with the owner several years back when we were informed, we were going to be paying deer hunting prices when our 3-year lease came up for renewal.

Seemed like it was geared towards getting fathers-children out hunting together and your causal hunters that may hunt 4-5 times a season.
Make prior reservations to hunt properties and PW makes sure places aren't over hunted-pressured, no double bookings etc. Most of the properties they have at their disposal are on the outskirts of the metromess.

IMO the last 5-6 seasons around North Texas have been poor; mild winters, lack of birds, low water levels etc.
You can snoop through their website and see previous hunting-scouting reports posted from members. Mostly ringnecks & gadwalls harvested, with a few other species of puddle ducks sprinkled in.

Had a pleasant phone conversation but we concluded it wasn't a good fit for our group given how much planned to hunt.

It appears his bread & butter is the fishing side of his business where he can control the habitat and fish populations at the lakes-ponds they lease-own etc.

Slightly off-topic but this place would be great. Thousands of ducks released to kill pests in rice fields.
