Who has one? Do you like it?
My gun club has a rimfire match, I have several 22 rifles that just won’t work. I’m thinking I need one, talk me out of it.

Look around CZ 457's with a 20" bull barrel. Drop in a trigger spring and get trigger under 2 lbs and you have something to compete with.

We have the 17hmr version and we like it alot. Have not exactly done a serious level of shooting. I have done like a 1.5-2" group of 20ish shots @ 100yrd. No issues the cycling or anything that comes to mind.

I will say I like the adjustability alot too. It's actually my wife's rifle. She (5'2") and I (6'0") can both easily shoot this rifle.

forget the Ruger if you want to compete.

CZ is your best bet to be competitive.

online that CZ457 at-one.....indicates it comes without sights....comes with "integral 11mm dovetail"....what does that mean? My sons shoot 4h rifle competition 50ft iron sights. I've been looking and thinking about a competition style gun that i could put the aunschutz target peeps on. which as i understand are 11mm? i think.

gun also says its supperssor ready which i don't think does me any good.

There’s still no provision for a front sight on those CZs. At least not the heavy barrel ones.

What kind of match are you talking about: bench, PRS or just steel at distance?

What type of match is important . I ran a BR-50 match for years . None of the above rifles would not be even close to competitive in that match . I also ran a steel sil match , different rifles for that type of match .

I have held the Ruger and I have owned several CZs. No comparison IMO (for a target rifle). I currently shoot a CZ 455 22 WMR with a thumbhole stock. Absolutely outstanding. If I were going to do what you stated I would go with a CZ 457 Varmint 22 LR: https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-457-varmint/

PS- Don't forget the trigger spring. Scope mounting is easy.

It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!
