It's been several years since I did much reloading for shotguns and now that I'm starting to shoot skeet and trap a couple of times a week I need to start back reloading to keep up with usage. Without getting into the whole argument of "it's just as expensive to buy off the shelf as it is to reload" which is sometimes true unless your shooting 16 gauge and .410 and I still prefer loads that I have built and trust. The dilemma I've ran into is all of the places we used to buy components locally are no longer around (anyone remember Nick's in Lewisville?). Where is everyone in the DFW area buying their components (wads, powders, primers, etc) locally these days? I appreciate any input anyone can give me.

Wileys Gun Shop in Wills point has been my best source for shot, they keep some wads in stock, and a decent supply of powder, not sure on primers
Southwest Ammunition in Mesquite is a good source for primers and powder.
Scheels in the colony is a good source for primers
Anything not hazmat I usually just order from Ballistic Products though

I would look at Gene Sears and go to one of their pick up locations when they deliver to Denton and Dallas. I have 1500 of the Fiochi 12 gauge primed hulls, if interested.

That place was like the candy store for reloading and supplies!

Yes!! When they went out of business, they marked down the 100 count bullet boxes to like $5 each. I was buying bullets to calibers I didn't even own!! I ended up buying several that I wanted to shoot, though.

Troy, the archery specialist, is over at All-Star Archery in Garland. He has worked on my bow several times. Scott, the gunsmith, works at the Beretta Gallery in Dallas. I ran into Dyron 3 weeks ago in Oklahoma at a gas station. I hadn't seen him in years.

Anybody remember Noble Firearms on Beach St. in Haltom City? I grew up a few blocks away. I went in there all the time.

The last time I was over at Alpine in Ft. Worth they had a lot of shotgun (as well as rifle and pistol) reloading supplies in stock. I actually got a great deal on some IMR 4064 powder (rifle) and bought every jug they had on hand.

Blue topper, I remember NobleI. I once bought an old 1873 Winchester 38-40 caliber and a couple of boxes of original ammo from them. Took it and shot a deer. Been a safe Queen for the last 50 years,

You can try 3on8supplies.com Mike is usually at the skeet shoots and brings supplies with him. If you let him know what you're looking for before a shoot you can probably guarantee he'll have it with him. Gene Sears used to deliver to the Dallas Gun Club for pick up, if you live near it and the timing is right might be a good deal.
