Got a good deal on two HF trailers....one 4x8 and one 4x4. The smaller one was free so it is getting outfitted with tent camping gear and will be pulled only by my four wheeler on my neighbor's 18 acres. The other one just got a plywood subfloor [T1-11 that I had left over from a project] and will be the teardrop. This camper will not be a typical teardrop in that it will be all wood in construction and not have the rounded roof design. Think of it as a very small cedar cabin on wheels.

So far I have not decided on a ceiling height. I saw a video of a 5' tall camper the other day and am considering it versus the usual 4' model template. I started out by removing all the extraneous stuff on the outside of the frame, light sanding on the metal, then primer and black Rustoleum paint. Then I ordered a new bearing and hub set for the axles, painted the wheels black and mounted 81 mph rated tires I got off Amazon

Framing will start soon. I am still working on the 37' Aljo conversion into a tiny house [which will be my new home in the near future].

Haven't had much time to work on it. Hoping that changes after this current job. Definitely need to check out the links dogcatcher posted. Haven't had time to even design it yet, been working on the RV a lot trying to get it ready to move should I have to motivate quickly.
