Late season Rut activity can and does happen.

Amazing to watch, right at dusk and I am driving in and see a does laying down and three nice buicks and then anothrer one enters the field walks close and turns and slowly walks off wheat field into cover and then here come another one like dogs after a bitch in heat.

Very glad to have been able to observe.

I hunted a large N Tx ranch this week for a few days, we saw bucks running does in a lot of different areas. Makes sense though with some yearlings just now cycling for the first time in early Jan and any mature does that didn't get bred will certainly keep cycling every 30 days. I have personally seen does getting chased in late Feb, always fun to see bucks chasing. They can damn near run those yearlings to death
