Has anyone used a small cutting wheel that fits in a drill , for wood , that you would recommend?

I have small wood and metal cutting wheels for a Dremel. I could run one in a drill driver I suppose. They don’t cut very fast. And you could cut much more aggressively with a wood cutting wheel in a hand held grinder. Woodcraft or Rockler might have something you could use.

What, specifically, are you trying to do?

I wanted to use it to cut some notches but I ended up using my jigsaw, making it a bit big and then sanding to fit

I use a Dremel Saw-Max. Best cutting tool I ever purchased. With a small variety of wheels, you can cut everything perfectly!!!

I had to look that up. Very interesting, and looks useful. I may need one.

Between the SawMax and MultiMax oscillating saws, I don't hardly ever get out any of my big ones out anymore.

I have a few of these set ups.

Angle grinder with saw attachment and saw blade.

And a 12" chainsaw attachment for the angle grinder.

With these 2 attachments you can "DESTROY" just about anything made out of wood.
