Love this tractor. The rear hydraulics let me tilt the scraper blade, which the old tractor wouldn’t do. I’m clearing a ditch that will divert rainwater (if it rains) to the pond.

The rear hydraulics and adjustable lift arms and top link make my life a lot easier.

Nice tractor. I would like to see a pic of whatever is holding up your auger (behind tractor in top pic). Mine lays on the ground and is a beating to put in the tractor.

The auger, yep, that’s a story. A friend told me to just screw it into the ground and unhook it, and it’d be easy to hook up again. Well, I screwed it in too far. That was tough to fix. So now I hang it from an oak tree limb. The chain stays in the tree, so I can back up to the chain, hook it to the auger and then disconnect it from the tractor. It’s still better to have an extra pair of hands, but I can do it myself.

I've got a steel 55 gal drum. going to cut the top off and cut a notch out of side and see if I can get it to sit in it. Built I nice tractor barn last year with 10' deep porches on each side that I want to try and put my implements under, so no good way to hang.

Beautiful tractor! Get a metal canopy for your ROPS and you will thank me later, the shade is worth it's weight in gold during the hot times.

Nice! Can't go wrong with Kubota.

Very nice, sir. Right now, I'm torn between the MX6000 and the Grand L6060 but leaning towards the Grand L. Whichever way I go, it'll have a cab.

I went with the MX over the Grand L because of the electronics on the latter. I didn’t need all that, and I can’t avoid the thought that more electronics mean potentially more problems. My desire is to keep it simple. And, as you probably know, the fancy 3 point upgrades are not available on the standard L Series Kubota.

The new tractor is the neighbor’s fault. I was doing fine with the old tractor till he got the nice Kioti with grapple. I did not know I needed a grapple until I saw his. And, his tractor had all the 3 point upgrades, like extendable lower arms and a hydraulic upper arm. I got all that AND the hydraulic adjustable lower arm, which you need to get, whatever tractor you decide on.

I passed on getting a cab because our place is heavily wooded and the AC for the tractor is in the roof. Matter of time till I banged it on something and killed the AC.

Further on the hydraulic lower arm and the benefit. Years ago I wanted an adjustable scraper blade. I wanted to angle the blade and also tilt it, for cleaning a ditch and maintaining a gravel road. Well, it was almost impossible to find one that would do all that, but eventually I found a used one. The bad news was that it had been used hard for many years and was somewhat deformed. Really hard to connect it to a tractor with a standard 3 point arrangement, but no problem to hook it up now. I can match the lift arms to the deformed connections on the scraper. The second pic above shows me using it exactly as I had hoped to originally. This pic shows the rear end.

Now that you have front hydraulics go get a post driver, you will wonder how you ever built fence without it.

You guys are sure spending my money. I’ll use the chainsaw on trees, and I honestly hope to never drive another T Post. I’ll tell ya what though…that grapple has been an amazing addition to my life. I was just about to swap it out for the bucket when the wife said there was a tree limb down by the back gate. Tree limb my butt, that was a MAJOR limb off a monster oak. Missed the gate thank goodness. I was down there grappelizing and chainsawing for quite a while.

I’ll offer the oak limb cutoffs in the classifieds. Nobody ever wants the wood, but there’s a good bit. 1/4 cord or so.

if the wood is still available in early Nov., I might could re-route your way to fill the back of my trailer behind my RTV, not sure I have room for a 1/4 cord

Let me know when you’ll be in the area, so I can be sure the wood is still there. Pretty sure it will be. There are downed oaks of all sizes on the roadside near here, and nobody has touched it. Only person that might want it is my neighbor, and with the pile of wood that we already have to split, we don’t need more. I’ll segment the limbs for you with my trusty chainsaw, and you can have what you want. And if you need more, I found more while fixing fence just now.

I’ll send it by PM. But the spec sheet shows a 72” grapple, and I finally went with a 60” grapple. Rather than refund money, they upgraded the rear hydraulics with the hydraulic lower lift arm. So the spec sheet isn’t completely accurate. Bradley Campbell at WC Tractor in Waco can probably supply a spec sheet that shows everything I have. He’s at 254 662 2420. Easy to deal with.
