0.45” here in McKinney. They got 6” just to the north and just to the south of us which is par for the course I guess. But I’ll take anything right now just reduce the water bill.

It started raining here about 16:00 yesterday and it doesn’t look like it’s going to let up until this evening sometime.

According to the app I use, we’ve had over 10” of rain in the last 10 hours or so. We also picked up 2.5” inches at our lease near Aspermont.

Phone app says we got 2.5 at home but FarmLogs says 1.3. I trust the latter more.

As of 8:15am this morning National Weather Service says almost all of Dallas County has had 8"+ with another 1"-3" expected by 11am. We needed it though. The ramp I usually launch at was just about to the point you couldnt do it in anything but a aluminum boat.

Fairly large creek by my house went from dry to several feet deep in the last 12 hours. We needed it badly.

Most of the lakes east of Dallas have receive 5-10” of rain as of 8:30 this morning and more is forecasted.

Quite a waste on all that concrete and asphalt. Folks here have had to sell most or all of their cows. Farmers were lucky to get one crop of anything.
