Went to Japanese restaurant last night. Sat at a table with people from
Spain. I told them I would get tip for the table. Looked at me like I was crazy. Waitress said people from Spain don’t tip.

I was worried about seaweed. But it has not been a problem.
This place has huge pools.

Covid test was 30 dollars at resort. Mine was negative. I was hoping for a false positive.

Barceló is all self contained. There are 6 hotels. You have access to all Buffett, all bars and all restaurants. There is a “mall” and a small casino.

Bowling is 15 bucks, we played mini golf.

All the resorts have nice restaurants. You need reservations. I tipped 50 and got all I wanted.

Riviera has nicest restaurants. Palace has a nice French one.
Riviera has Agave, La Dolce Vita and a Japanese one.
We’re going to a Argentinian steakhouse tonight. Rodrizo in Palace.

I did t care for La Trattoria Italian. Dolce Vida would have been better.

Kyoto Japanese was good. There is Japanese in mall too.

Yeah, that's my thinking...... the wife wants to get one, but I dont see the value in it. Unless there are other perks that come with it. She's researching it now.

All balconies have jacuzzi.

We spend most of our day in Barceló tropical pool. It’s more lively for kids. Riviera is pretty quiet. Which I prefer, but my wife likes the action. Zumba and other crap.

The beach has a lot of rock. But, There are several sandy areas to enter and swim.
Lots of good snorkeling spots off beach. I saw a sea turtle yesterday.

Love snorkeling. It is like painting a beautiful portrait underwater.

No one in Europe tips. I tipped in France, Italy, and Greece. The people in France and Italy looked at me like I had offended them. The people in Greece were more open to it.

I have been scuba before. I don’t really like it. I get sea sick if on a boat over an hour.

Been a real good trip. Currently wife and 18 year old daughter are at odds.
Wife wanted this to be a “girls trip” with my daughter who just graduated and heads off to Alabama next month.

Daughter turned 18 and is bring 18, hanging out with new friends from Pennsylvania. I’ve met them, very nice. M
