I think with using hen estrus along with calling, and decoys, it could potentialy bring more birds into your spread and put more birds in the bag. Now, granted the effective range of smell for our feathered creatures is very short range it would only be a deal closer so to speak..I have been devising a way to harvest hen estrus so that I can make this idea more marketable. My plan is to make special decoys that spray estrus into the air, kinda like the timed scent you hear and smell in some bathrooms. I want to make it operational by remote. I can control when I spray it, and the amount. Just think, when those ducks are circling overhead and your giving a low pitch feed call, you just press that button and love begins to fill the air.

I'm thinking about installing a projector screen on my honey hole with a continuous loop of duck porn in HD. Think it will work?

How can you say it's a crock? Have you tried it? I have. Using freshly sqozen hen estrus juice will make your hunt an unforgetable experience. I have bagged a few ducks using this this highly effective practice. Actually the native indians used this very method in hunting deer and buffalo.

The only freshly sqozen items I deal in are limes. That is in 1/2 tequila 1/2 Clamato with lime juice.

Just for kicks, show us some research, proving that ducks will be attracted to this. Deer depend on their noses for survival, birds usually their eyes. Please explain your theory, for all the non-believers. On another note, why would this work during duck season (fall and winter) when ducks go into "estrus" during the spring. Would the males not think this a little strange, or just react like humans and take it when it is availiable?

i dunno moose, i'm skeptical about that kinda stuff. i, myself, will not spend the money just to try it out. hell, it says you gotta put 2-4 bags out 4-6 weeks before the season even starts! and then bring 2 new bags w/ ya everytime ya hunt. i hunt every weekend, both days. so if my math is correct, besides the 4 bags you gotta leave out b4 the season starts, that means i'm gonna be using about 22-26 more bags of this stuff. no way, not worth the $$$. especially hunting on public land like i have to.
