Good for Hornady.
But I cant understand why they are putting a restrictor plate on a top fuel dragster, using that 162 gr. Hell, I load that bullet in 7mm-08 and 7mm-08 A.I. 28 Nosler deserves a 180 gr bullet, minimum.

Appeals to Shake and Bake shooters, Ricky Bobby/Cal Nunc JR. I'm sure FPS will be in bold

I have yielded many calls about bullet options for the 28. Some shooters do like the lighter and go faster bullets.

Depends on how you are using the cartridge and rifle. If shooting using a dial scope for yardage then heavier BC biullets is good but if using inside say 500 yards for hunting it really doesn't matter that much and the shorter the distance the less it matters which way you go lighter and fast or heaier with more BC.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Go faster....good God...how much faster than a 195 @ 3k fps do you need to go? I get going to a lighter bullet on something that doesn't have the boiler room or barrel length to push a heavier bullet and I get it for the guy shooting a duplex scope to 2-300y but you don't buy a gun capable of throwing Thor's hammer and put an Eastwing in it. In my opinion there isn't anything I've heard near as much about than a 28 Nosler w/ a 195 and how it transfers the energy to the animal. To each their own I guess...this one just doesn't make sense to me...that's coming from a fella that plans to shoot 140's in his little short barreled 7-08AI and has been arguing with his buddy about 162's

My .284WIN is pushing 180VL's at 2900fps out of a 28'' barrel. I can only imagine what you could do with the 28NOS with a 195gr. I never shot one but developed loads for 7ultra's and the energy they carry at 800yds on a gong definitely makes a different ring.
