Researching close range heavy hitter for AR15 platform and came across this. Anyone have actual experience with it? It would pair with my .35 remingtons. Supposedly around 2500 FPS from 16” barrel and Hornady FTX bullets.

I’ll probably wait until the cheaper .358 Ozark Trail comes out.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Interesting Cartridge. I have not heard of it before.
You might also want to look at:
.375 Raptor & .45 Raptor
I built a 45 Raptor.
You definitely want to be a Hand Loader with these types of toys.

I’ll probably wait until the cheaper .358 Ozark Trail comes out. Well played.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I am loading the Hornady 300/gr XTP Mag Bullet. It's pretty much a chunky bowling ball.
I have settled in at 2150/FPS for best accuracy and no pressure signs.
It's shooting Sub 2.00" MOA. I don't think claiming 1.50" would be stretching the truth.

It actually shoots like a dream. It has a big four port muzzle break. I'm running an A2 Stock with a squishy Limb Saver Airtech Pad.
I could shoot it all day long without it wearing me down.

Anyone have response for the .358 Yeti cartridge? Looking at this specifically to load Hornady 200 grain FTX as I already load for my .35 Remington.
