My son sent me this. Said it was across the street from the Bud distributor in Commerce. Looks like he is really lost.

Not an axis, thats a fallow. Bet that rain washed out a water crossing on a HF place nearby.

Thanks for correcting me. I thought the horns didn't look like an Axis. The latest report was a picture of him taken off Hwy 24 by the Hunt and Delta county line. The only high fence I know about around Commerce is about 5 miles away from where it's been seen. He gets seen around here on the WMA I'll head out with my crossbow. Would sure look good on the wall and in the freezer.

Would sure look good on the wall and in the freezer. Just talked to a buddy that lives in Cooper and it came off the 10-2-4 Ranch in Commerce owned by the CEO of Dr Pepper . They darted it and took it back.

I'm glad they got it back. From talking to some people who saw it, it seemed pretty tame. Strange site around Commerce for a few days.
