Ive done quite a bit of research and get the basics of what i'm supposed to do, but I am having a hard time finding data for my particular shells. I have Federal 12 gauge 2 3/4" game load hulls that are supposed to take 1oz of shot at 3 1/4 dram EQ. with a muzzle velocity of 1290 FPS. Does anyone have any data for these shells or data that will work in them? I know these aren't the best to reload, but going to try to give them a go.

In Shotshell reloading both the Alliant Powder and Hodgdon websites have lots of data available. On both sites they have tested proven safe combinations of primer, wad, powder and shot weight that go into a specific brand of hull.

Each component can change the pressure, so it is best to use proven recipes.

Because each powder lot is slightly different I strongly suggest that you weigh the first several charges thrown by your bushing to establish a baseline for that bushing with that particular container of powder. Never blindly trust a bushing chart for how much powder will be thrown.

On the trapshooters.com forum you can use the search function to find information related to your question. Shotgunworld.com also has good information. Federal has used hulls with different physical characteristics when loading its ammunition. Without the exact specifics it is impossible for me to give you a safe recipe.

Here is one of the threads about your question.

AO7, If you have access to chronograph, that would be final step to verify your load, also you may need to do this too.
have fun.
