Looking at purchasing a Mule in the next few weeks. Anyone who has bought one recently care to share where they got it? I'm in Austin and fairly certain I can get a better deal from a dealer out of town.

I purchased 1 from Georgetown dealer (4010 Trans) and 1 from Wood near Round Rock (610). Better prices in Canton by about $500 or more but didn't want to drive all the way there and back. Instead tried to get close price match in town. Good luck.

Bought 2016 pro mule dxle last summer at Kawi dealer in LaMarque. Saved about $1200. Was well worth the 3 hour drive.

I bought a Mule PRO FXT ranch a few months back at Kawasaki City in Irving. They were by far the lowest and easiest to work with around DFW. I shopped around and like you would travel for a deal if needed. Adrian was honest and upfront with pricing.

I did a lot of internet research and calling around. I called within the range I would drive to pick up if they were the lowest price. Then, I called the local Austin dealerships and played the prices I had gotten against the locals. When I finally got the locals down, I waited until the end of the month and bought up in Georgetown. Take your time and be patient, I kept saying to the local guys, "don't make me go to Dallas or Houston, come down to their price".....

Thanks for the help guys. I will be calling around to some of these places. Luckily deer season is a couple of months away so I have some time to try and work a deal somewhere.

Just bought a fxr 3 weeks ago. I had called/shopped around for several months. Bought the unit at canton power sports in canton tx. They were great to deal with and gave best price up front.....no hanky panky.
Kawasaki city in Irving or Lancaster was priced just as good and good people. I bought in canton because it was more convenient for me. Both were good folks.

I bought from K&P Motorsports in Marble Falls. They matched the Canton price.
I live in Georgetown and tried to buy from Central Texas Power Sports but they just refused to get price competitive. Was well worth the hour drive to Marble Falls. CTPS promised me they wouldn't get beat on price....well they got beat on price.

I took it back to Marble Falls for the first service. They were a lot cheaper than CTPS on that, too. I'll do the basic oil changes myself.

Bought our 2016 Pro FXT in Feb 2017 in San Antonio, but was hard to get "an appointment" for the required services. So I checked with the Kawasaki dealer in Hondo on our way to the deer lease and their service was much cheaper, and took it when I wanted to drop it off. They are a small town dealership and super nice to deal with. I asked about their sales prices and learned that I would have saved several hundred dollars if I would have bought from them. Should have done some more research....I know it is a ways from Austin, but might at least be worth a call. I was able to save quite a bit by finding dealers that had 2016s left over.

Appreciate the info guys! I've contacted several of these places so we will see what happens. I'll have to check the Hondo dealership as my deer lease is in Uvalde. Thanks for the help.

Is it too late?? My brother in law is the salesman in canton. They’re already super cheap but I MAY be able to get you a better deal.
If you can give me an exact model I can get you a price.

I DIDN'T purchase mine from Bargers in Waco and after having my Mule Pro FXT there since the first of June to replace a wiring harness, I understand why I would never buy anything or take anything back to them again. Slowest service on the face of the earth.

I drove from Houston to Kawasaki City in Iriving to buy our mule. They were by far the best price I found. Did the whole deal over the phone. They had it ready and sitting outside waiting when we got there, we were in and out in less than 30 mins.

Price the accessories out too when purchasing new. Most prices on the units themselves are easily comparable, within a few hundred bucks, but not on after market add ons.
