I remember years ago when I got into bird dogs I bought a training collar from Cappy. He actually sent me an extra collar and some gear to help me out. I appreciated the gesture and always wanted to meet him. God Bless him, prayers for the family.

I read a lot of his posts on FB. The one good thing about knowing the end is coming is that you have a chance to get things right and it seems he had.
I did not know him personally, but he offered to help laying out a wetland even though he didn't know much about me. I think that says a lot.
RIP, I hope Cappy greeted you at the pearly gates like you always imagined.
