Does anyone have any experience or input on Gunner Kennels? Good, Bad or otherwise?

I've got 2.

By far the best portable kennel on the market.

You can't do any better without buying a full fledged dog box.

The intermediate size is good for my 55-65 pound labs. Two of the intermediate size will fit side by side in the bed of a truck but the large will not. I like them because I can easily remove them from my bed if needed but 95% of the time I keep them strapped in the truck bed.

I have the Large for my 85 lb lab. The intermediate is pretty small (it's smaller than a medium plastic crate). The Larger Gunner is awesome, but it is a beast of a kennel. I think it weighs about 75 lbs. I never had issues with the old school plastic kennels, but there is certainly a sense of security with Gunner kennels.

I have the large gunner kennel for my 70lb gsp. I really like the insulation during cold weather hunts. If you are going to only load it into and out of your truck when you go hunt during cold weather you will really like it. Its pretty heavy and they are hard to store because they cant be broken down. For warm weather hunts I put a light weight kennel in my truck, its much easier to move around.

I totally understand the use of the lighter weight kennel during the warm weather hunts because they are easier to move but just like you like the insulation for the cold weather hunts, the insulation on the Gunner is a HUGE help for the warm weather. The kennels stays several degrees cooler in the heat than just the old plastic kennels. The double walls create a great barrier from the heat from the sun and heat from the truck bed.

I'm sure the product is a good one but, they can't keep up with demand right now. Our
kennel has been on order for two weeks and still hasn't shipped yet.
