Had lunch with my good friend PitchforkPredator yesterday at Hutchins and it was very good. Had the brisket and rib plate bother were cooked perfectly with great flavor. For sides I had Mac n cheese and fried okra both outstanding. Then to top it off banana pudding. It was the only meal I h]ate yesterday I was stuffed lol. Its def worth a visit but go after the lunch rush.

Very fortunate to have it local, we LOVE it.
You got my standard meal but have tried everything
and it's all great. It's been a couple weeks so
I'm ready to go back.

Some of the best (if not the best) BBQ in DFW. In addition to great BBQ, their sides are great too (fried okra and french fries are my favorites). Plus, the free banana pudding is a great way to end the meal if I'm not too stuffed.

On Saturdays we like to go to the Franconia Brewery Tour ($5 all you can drink) then Hutchins is around the corner $20 all you can eat. I'd put their BBQ up against anyone else in Texas. I'm looking at you Blacks & Franklin!

After seeing this thread. Went there tonight for first time.

Thoughts.
Got the all you can eat. There was s pretty long line, outside. Waited about an hour.
Got the brisket, ribs, catfish, sausage.
Sides. Got potato salad and macaroni n cheese. Big red to drink.

I was impressed. Was disappointed in peach cobbler. It was picked through. But to me a cobbler is the crust.

when I went we went after the lunch rush and prob waited less then 20 min line wasn’t even to the door. I think around 130-2 is when we got there. Was too full to try the cobbler but will next time.

Our favorite BBQ in Texas so far but have many to visit still. Our 2nd is Stanleys in Tyler. Best ribs I've had so far.

Absolutely one of my all time favorites. Went last week and was really disappointed....will give them another shot though, everyone is entitled to an off day.

The Hutchins in Frisco is a little above average, I have tried it a few times.

I understand the original location in McKinney is much better

As a life long Mckinney resident: I think I sleep on Hutchins because we have it all the time. It's great but it's just our local BBQ joint.
While your over there...right down the road is "one and only burgers"...that place is incredible.

This is true. I would drive past the Frisco location to get the one in McKinney.
