Need some opinions/feedback...2000 Kawasaki Mule with 6100 hours and asking $1850 for it. If it’s in good condition and runs fine is that a fair price or no?

I have a 2001 550 with 2025 hours on it and I use it daily. Motor is little noisy but not bad and still runs great and doesn't use oil or smoke.
But, 6100 hours is A LOT of hours. 6100 hours divided by 19 years is only 321 hours a year or a little less than an hour a day. About normal for a farmer/rancher to feed and check cows/fence daily.
If it looks good, they probably took care of it but my main question is how was it used and how was it maintained? If you can get some history and it checks out, it's probably worth it.

6100 hours??? I highly doubt that is the original engine, might be on number 3 or 4!!! Likewise, that is a lot of wear and tear on the rest of the unit as well. Price is definitely on the cheap side, but I would look very closely at all the wear parts, broken welds, etc.

If my memory serves me right and it is fading, really cold mornings would be a real test on getting it cranked and started. Buy a good set of booster cables to assist when the temps get below about 35 degrees. Manual choke makes it easier.

I wouldn’t. With that many hours, even if the engine runs good there are a host of other parts that will be worn out. You may roll the dice and it works for years, but I’ll bet you’ll be fixing it more than driving it.

Dang that is alot of hours.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

That's a good price for sure for a mule.......but that is also so many hours. Why is he selling it?
