Noonday, TX...Hwy 155 between Tyler and Frankston. I hit it every time I go visit my granddaughter. The Blue Store is pretty good too...same highway but closer to Tyler.

Edmondson's Fried Chicken was by far my favorite chicken growing up, but they have been gone for a while now.

While not the best it's probably where I eat fried chicken the most. Market Street has fantastic chicken for a good price.

If your Walmart has a deli try their fried chicken, sometimes it is overcooked but when they get it right their breading is really good.

One of my regular trips to my quail lease always included a mid day stop at Walmart. My friend and I always bought their chicken tenders and hit the road. We had chicken tender sandwiches on the road and chicken tenders for our first night at the lease.

Gus' is good but next time you're in Austin, hit Lucy's Fried Chicken. It's awesome and you can also get fried deviled eggs.

Chicken E is good bird just wish it was close to Popeye's so it was easier to get some red beans and rice! I really shouldn't look at the On the road section when about is all I get is 1000 calories a day anymore...thanks to sweet tea. Eating out and dinning has become mundane or hassle.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

OOPS! The joke is on me. I was back over there today and saw that the KFC logo was on several buildings. It's the Katy-Fulshear Crossing. That's the name of the center.
