Anyone own and shoot one? YouTubes loves them. How about THFers?

Nope but I’ve heard nothing but good about them. One of the better bang for the buck rifles out there.

Thats what I'm thinking. Their 6mm Creed is 1-7.5 twist and has a long magazine

I've got the 18" in 308. Makes an excellent throw down or truck gun. Accurate as any factory short action I've had.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I have the standard in 7mm-08, bought it as a fill-in/back-up gun on a deal I couldn't pass up. It's sub-MOA 3-shot accurate with factory rounds and great for wagging around. However, I DO NOT like the bladed trigger, but that's probably personal preference.

I’ve shot a few and nothing but good results. Picked it up took it hunting and ear shot a hog at 100 yards. It probably isn’t a match grade accuracy type gun but it’s killed everything I’ve shot it at.

Purchased a lefty 6.5 CM a few months ago. Only had it to the range once, but the few rounds I put downrange made me smile. Will be getting some more trigger time soon, as I plan on taking it to Wyoming for a speed goat hunt next month. The Hornady 143 ELD-X ammo seems to be the ticket.

might have to go this way, 6mm Breedmoor. I think there is a better aftermarket trigger offered for the American now

Really nice gun. More than enough accuracy for hunting, but the ones I've seen didn't shoot as tight as more expensive Tikka/Savage rifles.
In short, great for the money, but still somewhat of a low-end rifle. I think it competes well with low-end Savages from a quality and accuracy standpoint.

Mines in 243. Left side is Winchester 58's right side is Hornady 58's. Stock rifle and trigger.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I had one in 243 and one of the best shooters out of the box I have ever had. I have a ranch model in 300 blck and it will put all three touching at 100.
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

Anyone own and shoot one? YouTubes loves them. How about THFers? Have a base model RAR Compact in 223 for kids and it is a good shooter, right out of the box. Nice and light too. Modified the bases that came with it with some file work to accept picatinny rings. 1:8” twist if I remember correctly. from me.

Out of curiosity, why the interest in this rifle?
A few days ago you were showing photos of your nice custom 6.5 CM in a McM A5.
What is the difference?
Instead of buying more rifles, how about a NF NXS or ATACR?

I have one in .243 and one in 308. Both shoot MOA or better with factory ammo. For the money they’re really tough to beat.

Seriously, Buzz is too much of a high roller to buy a Ruger American.

I have Ruger American Predator 204, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor and Ruger Ranch 5.56. All shoot really well with factory ammo and extremely well with reloads. The stocks are a little flimsy but can be bedded or change the stock. I have nothing but good to say with all of mine.
