There were 4 total but this is the best pic. I've got a 2 year old coming in often that's got split G2s. He's prob 15"s wide so he could be taken out legally. I'd like to see him get 2 more years on him for sure.

I feel like we're barely getting any closer to deer season.

I've got pics of that bigger one 3 years in a row.

I believe him to be 5 years old.

I'm pulling the trigger on him this year should I have the chance.

I have a heavy 10 too that I know made it just haven't got him on camera yet. He was a solid 160 last year.

Those big bucks go through a lot as they age. You just never know what the weather is going to be like, and the rut can take a toll, and a nice rack can become broken up pretty easily.
I've seen a big heavy horned buck that was walking skin and bone, that we skinned out, and there wasn't a place on it's body that was salvageable, and it was so bad it wouldn't have made good dog food. Nature would have dealt a cruel death.
That's why I've always said, take him if he gets your attention, or he may not make it another year.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Those are nice. I'm not seeing many bucks, and none of them have racks this big. I'm in Montague county.

Nice. I’m seeing some very nice bucks as well and it is getting me excited.
