What do you think it would cost me to fence the perimeter of 10 acres with 5 strand barb wire? (2,640 feet)
What about "High Fence"?
THANKS!

About a $2.50/ft for 5 wire barbwire fence if the land is clear or no old fence to take down in my area of South Texas. That price is dependent up or down some based on type of soil, amount of corners, gates, watergaps, type of materials used for corners, amount of line posts, etc. HF would be about 2x as much with same factors determining final cost.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I believe to get more accurate information you need to give more details on what you want. Such as type of post.Distance between post, Terrain, Gates, Corners. On HF the same except height of fence.

I had 3125' of 6 strand done back in January. It cost $2.20/ft. to demo and install, 1.25lb T-post, 10' apart. H or A braces were $300 each, 2 7/8" post were $40/each. He charged me $50 to rehang a gate the we reconfigured in the corner. All in it was a little over $9k. That does not include any dozer work.

I think you should expect $3.50 a foot plus extra for gates.
That's they provide everything and you do nothing but write the check.

Call a couple of fence guys and get quotes. Prices are different everywhere you go depending on soil type.

our neighbor's got a quote for $6.75/foot labor and materials and another $3.50-7.00/foot clearing for a goat proof (ok, goat wire, nothing is goat proof). That was on 60-70 acres with existing (40+ year old) fence, welded H & corners, welded trailer depth entrance with gate. This was in SE Burnet county which is very rocky with deep limestone. When they told me the pricing, I got 3-4 other rough estimates from local fencing companies, which were substantially lower, more in lines with $3.50-4.00/foot materials & labor with clearing $2-4/foot.

Corners are the mainstay of a good fence. If you use cedar or treated post for corners use a 5 post corner with an anchor between corner and each middle post. Metal corner might get by with 3 post, 5 is better, but be sure to use the anchors, use the longest you can screw into the ground. With no anchor corner will eventually come out of the ground no matter how deep you set it.
